Blush Inspired Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding | Kaitlin and Josh Married | Ultimate Edge Photography

I just want to start off by saying that I am obsessed with the color blush so naturally, of course, I am obsessed with Kaitlin and Josh’s Scotland Run Golf Club wedding! There were so many blush tones, I was in pure heaven! Kaitlin had such beautiful invitations which made for a gorgeous flat lay of her bridal details! From the moment I met Kaitlin and Josh at their engagement session I knew we would be a perfect fit for each other.

As many of you know, I have been to Scotland Run Golf Club quite a few times this year. I actually believe I have at least 2 more weddings there this year alone before wedding season wraps up! I love Scotland Run weddings because it seems like no matter how many times I go there, I see portraits differently for each of my couples. This makes for each of my couples to have a unique perspective to their day! Also, visiting Scotland Run Gold Club often gives my couples an idea of how they would like their wedding day to flow. Kaitlin actually decided she’d like to do their first look with Scotland Run in the background because of a previous wedding I shot there in this particular shot. My little secret spot, which is not very secret, has become a new favorite of mine for portraits!

Kaitlin asked for my opinion on so many aspects of her wedding which is so flattering to me! One of my suggestions was to do a back-to-back vow reading before their first look. This allows for a private moment for you two to read your personal vows to each other without having all the eyes of your guests staring at you! Once you finish your vows, and how that you have all the feels, we set you up for your first look where you can finally see each other for the first time on your wedding day! This is actually what I did on my wedding day and it was the best decision I made for the whole day! It takes away so many nervous feelings and lets you both cry those tears of joy in private, which was a huge plus for Jason and I.

Kaitlin and Josh’s wedding day was so amazing and I can wait to capture so many more of their life adventures together! The love they share is so sweet and beautiful, it was melting the hearts of all their family and friends that attended!
