The 90-minute drive to reach the lighthouse for their maternity session was totally worth it for Christina and Bryan Barnegat Lighthouse Maternity Session. It was a mini shoot that only took 20 minutes, but we sure got a lot of beautiful images in that short time. And like me, this couple loves lighthouses.
Barnegat Lighthouse is near my studio in southern New Jersey, so I know the idyllic spot well. You can climb the 40-foot lighthouse and simultaneously get 217 of your steps on for the day. But naturally, Christina preferred to stay grounded this time. Still, one day, she probably will take her son to the top to admire the epic views across the city of Barnegat Light and the bay.
With shady spots of lush greenery, sand, and the lighthouse as a backdrop, it’s lovely for a couple, family, maternity, or solo shoot. Christina and Bryan looked gorgeous and obviously overjoyed at becoming parents. When Bryan lay down in the sand for a playful photo, I saw what a fun dad he will be.
Christina looks stunning in every frame for her Barnegat Lighthouse Maternity Session. Wearing a form-fitting olive green off-the-shoulder dress, she was glowing. That dress showed off her growing baby bump, and the long skirt flowed in the wind. You couldn’t choose a more perfect outfit for a pregnancy session on the beach. Holding hands, dreaming about their baby on the way, and sharing loving words. This couple was a picture of pure joy. A collection of pictures, to be exact, and I’m happy to share my favorite ones on the blog.
And you will see their smiling faces again. They plan to have their newborn photos in the studio, and I can’t wait to meet the new addition to their family.
