Coach House at the Ryland Inn was the perfect destination for Hannah and Michael’s elegant wedding. Enlisting the help of wedding planner Laura from Elegant Events, their vision of a romantic outdoor ceremony came true.
We met over a year earlier during our beautiful engagement shoot at Sayen House and Gardens. Looking effortlessly gorgeous in every photo, it’s obvious Hannah and Michael are made for each other. Always smiling, laughing and enjoying conversations about all kinds of things, they are so in love. Getting to know them with a few hours at the gardens, I was looking forward to shooting more of their love story. After that, we had many emails before, and finally, the Coach House wedding day arrived. With perfect weather, bursts of colors and a couple who couldn’t stop smiling, it was a wedding day that unfolded beautifully.
When I arrived, the girls were dressed in matching pajama sets with champagne ready to be popped. The excitement set the mood for a fun time getting ready as the boys did the same nearby. The details of gold embossed wedding stationery, a personalized ring box, fresh florals and bejeweled bridal heels combined with the happy energy in the air made a lovely start to the day. Hannah’s mom, who helped with the wedding planning due to her daughter’s busy schedule at a new job, helped put on her designer dress. She looks exquisite with a glamour look created by Sarah Mari Beauty and Beauty On Location NJ. Her bouquet by Touch of Elegance in Randolph NJ was a heavenly bouquet of burgundy, red and pink florals that matched the bridesmaid’s dresses.
Hannah’s father’s expression when he saw her was priceless. With a hug and his blessing, he was impressed with her gorgeous look. Michael was waiting in the gardens to see his bride too. I love these moments that overflow with emotion that leads to tears, laughter, dancing and warm embraces. Also, I love this location for bridal party portraits. Coach House is an iconic New Jersey location with many areas for wedding celebrations, including well-manicured gardens and regal reception rooms.
Embracing the beauty of nature, the couple tied the knot in the sunshine. In front of a wooden archway adorned with flowers, they exchanged rings and vows during a religious service that was uplifting and meaningful. All their friends and family were so happy to see them become man and wife and clapped as they walked down the aisle.
More champagne was popped as the finishing touches were added to The Coach House wedding reception space. This space is a 200-year-old barn setting with high exposed beams with french doors and a charming brick fireplace. I captured the detail of the reception space which is a favorite of mine to photograph. We captured getting couple photos in the soft sunset light, a romantic and quiet moment before the celebration began.
SCE Entertainment made sure the party was a huge success with great music for dancing between speeches. The couple cut a glorious multi-tiered white wedding cake with red flowers, then playfully fed each other a slice. After a joyful night of dancing, everyone farewelled the newlyweds with a bright sparkler exit.
