DIY Backyard Wedding in Great Meadows New Jersey | Stephanie and Miguel | Ultimate Edge Photography

I met Stephanie, her mom, and sister exactly 1 year from their wedding date for a consultation! Stephanie was in New Jersey for a short period of time and had reached out to me about her and Miguel’s wedding. Stephanie and Miguel had already planned to do a DIY backyard style wedding before the pandemic so not much changed as far as wedding plans. However, their original location was unable to host their wedding anymore and Stephanie and Miguel had to go on the hunt for a new location. Luckily, the pandemic and location change did not stop these two from sharing their love for one another and everything worked out perfectly!

Stephanie and Miguel’s wedding was filled with so much love from the moment I walked into the door for prep at the most amazing Airbnb! This house was huge and sat on its own little lake, it was adorable! Both Stephanie and Miguel got ready at the same location so it took some coordination to make sure they did not see each other before their first look. We did a lot of shuffling these two all around the house but it worked out flawlessly!

Miguel fought back the tears when Stephanie and her father started to make their way up the aisle because the moment these two have been waiting so long was finally happening! Everyone had tears in their eyes when these two read their vows to one another too! Everything about their ceremony was so touching and it was so apparent the love Stephanie and Miguel share for one another!

Stephanie and Miguel knew how to host one hell of a party! Magic Touch DJs did an excellent job keeping the vibe of the night upbeat and super fun. I can’t recall the dance floor ever being empty at any point of the night! At one point in the night, the wedding planners had to do a liquor run because everyone was having such a grand time that there was an actual liquor shortage at the wedding! Luckily Ninty Seven Events came to the rescue though! Stephanie and Miguel’s wedding day will be one that I will always remember!

The tears of joy and love Miguel had while saying his vows to Stephanie were so pure!
