For Maverick’s 9-Month milestone photoshoot, I decided to do a fruit milk bath session because I thought it would be a great close to summer and the beginning of fall. Maverick loves baths and food, so this was a great way to keep him super happy during a shoot! He was in pure heaven, being about to eat food while taking a bath!
I have always adored a fruit milk bath session, but I noticed that everyone seems to only do these types of sessions for girls. Finding inspo for this session was difficult because everything was frilly and cute. I didn’t want that vibe for my little man photo session. I mixed some earth tones to make the session a more gender-neutral milk bath. Everything I researched had strawberries in the milk bath, which added a girly spring touch to the images. So, I opted out of the pops of bright red like strawberries and went with some different. Instead, I used grapefruits, lemons, and oranges to give the image some subtle pops of color. Out of pure luck, I found Maverick’s outfit at Carter’s that had cute little lemons on it! This outfit could not have been more perfect!
Time Flies By!
When people tell you that time flies by, I reiterate that it genuinely does! Can you believe our little man is nine months old; like what?! In literally three months, we will have a 1-year-old, which is mind-blowing to use a year has almost come and gone already! For the following months, I believe I will be doing Halloween-themed and a Fall-themed sets. Then it will be Maverick’s cake smash session for his 1-year milestone in December!
