Is anything more dreamy than a Hotel LBI wedding full of sunny coastal vibes and love? Meg and Ryan’s celebrations at Hotel LBI in Beach Haven, New Jersey, had us swooning with tropical-inspired details, exotic florals, and balmy weather.
Meg and her side of the bridal party were having a blast preparing for the ceremony. Happy tears flowed when the bride received a loving note from her policeman husband-to-be. She looked gorgeous wearing a strapless Maggie Sottero Designs gown and long veil. Her look was completed with beautiful hair and make-up by Tara Crenshaw. She carried a bouquet from Flowers by Sue that featured pretty orchids and lush greenery. Then, it was time to ensure the groom was ready for the first look.
The groom was with his boys and the couple’s cute pup. You all know I love having pets at a wedding. I met this adorable fur baby at the engagement photo shoot and was impressed with how photo-trained he was. Their pup wore a bow tie adorned with anchors for this photo op. At this Hotel LBI wedding, he was just as well behaving in a doggy tux suit.
Meg and Ryan were overcome with joyful emotions at the beach, seeing each other in their bridal looks for the first time. Basking in the sun and their love for each other, we had a lovely time taking couple and bridal party portraits before the ceremony. The Hotel LBI architecture is impressive, with stylish stairwells, a wooden boat-inspired ballroom, and thoughtful attention to detail. Shooting at this location is exciting, and we couldn’t have hoped for a sweeter, more laid-back, happy couple.
The ceremony was lovely, with more happy tears and plenty of warm-hearted appreciation for the couple as they exchanged their vows and rings. The newlyweds walked down the aisle with high-energy enthusiasm as their friends and family cheered them on.
The reception was elegant, with the couple having their sweetheart table adorned with tropical botanicals and gold lanterns. Speeches were given right next to the couple, creating an intimate atmosphere. Meg incorporated her love of baking into her wedding day by making favors and wedding cake. The guests adored the sweet treats and nautical-themed double-tiered vanilla creation, while the bride fulfilled her dream of making her wedding cake. After dinner, the dancing kicked off, but we stole the couple for a moment for some romantic outdoor portraits. It was a wonderful evening of celebration with a couple who put a lot of effort into their day’s styling and ensuring their guests had a wonderful time. We congratulate them for having one of the best weddings Hotel LBI has seen!
In conclusion, a Hotel LBI wedding is a part of the prestigious Weddings Of Distinction group. All of the properties managed by Weddings of Distinction are stunning. Whenever I’m booked at one of their venues, I know the wedding will be modern, stylish, and memorable. I’ve been so lucky to work at many of their hotels and resorts. With so many in their portfolio, there are still a few on my wish list. For example, I would love to shoot at a wedding at Bonnet Island Estate or Ashford Estate because they are both fantastic wedding venues I’ve admired for a long time. So if you are getting married at one of those venues or anywhere in New Jersey, Long Beach Island, Hamilton, and beyond, I would love to hear from you!
