Minimony at Olde Mill Inn | Basking Ridge, New Jersey | Maggie and Ryan Married | Ultimate Edge Photography

Maggie and Ryan’s love story all started on a night out with friends when Maggie noticed a good looking black Jeep Wrangler. After spotting the Jeep, she walked up to this group of guys and said she had to compliment the owner of the Jeep, which happened to be Ryan! They hit it off and the rest is history!

Maggie reached out to me back in July about her August wedding. She, as with so many other couples, had their originally planned wedding affected by COVID-19 and government shutdowns. Here in New Jersey, indoor dining is still not allowed so Maggie and Ryan were forced to postpone to a later date.

However, these two still decided to get hitched on their original date with a few changes. They ended up hosting their reception at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge New Jersey, which is a very favorite venue of mine! The staff at Olde Mill Inn is so extremely nice, their food is amazing, and their grounds are so SO pretty! Their wedding reception took place under a tent near the Olde Mill Inn’s Grain House. I never knew Olde Mill Inn had a section like this on their property until Maggie told me about it! At the Olde Mill Inn Grain House, they host intimate weddings and elopements which includes a pretty gazebo for a small ceremony and amazing reception hall!

I highly recommend Olde Mill Inn Grain House for anyone considering hosting a minimony, elopement, intimate wedding, micro wedding, or whatever you want to call your wedding for 2020!

Maggie thought of all the little details and it truly paid off because everything was so gorgeous! Their color scheme consisted of a dusty rose, navy, rose gold, and ivory which is honestly my favorite wedding colors! Something about the pastel looks with a pop of color with the navy speaks romantic and elegant to me!

The invitation suite made by One Two Bre was so elegant and detailed! The lace pocket and fold over is something I think every invitation suite should have! I love anything lace, actually, I am probably more borderline obsessed so an invitation suite with lace detailing in my fave. Maggie and Ryan’s invites were so elegantly detailed and pieced together so perfectly!

Maggie chose to do a first look with her father, which I always suggest because it is always a touching moment, and his reaction to seeing her was priceless! Her dad, Tom, had Maggie read him her handwritten letter that she wrote to him which brought the whole room to tears! Right from the beginning, Maggie was fighting to hold back her tears. Tom tried the best he could to hold back his tears, but emotions got the best of him once Maggie showed him the new custom handkerchief she had made for him!

Maggie and Ryan’s wedding day was filled with so much love and laughter, it reminded of what weddings used to feel like before the world pandemic even happened! I am so extremely honored to have been a part of their wedding, to have met their loving family and friends, and to capture these amazing memories for them! Congratulations Maggie and Ryan!!

Everyone was in tears when Maggie read the letter she wrote and handkerchief she had made for her father!

This church was so beautiful!

It all started with a Jeep so of course we had to get portraits with it!

That veil toss was on point!! I had to ask one of Maggie’s brothers to help us out for this shot and he did amazing!!

Father/Daughter dances always get to me! You may not ever see it, but I am usually tearing up behind my camera! I definitely teared up for Maggie and her Father’s dance together, it was so touching!
