My Engagement Session | Jupiter Florida | Christine Magee Photography

I don’t know what it is, but every time a photographer tries to do a photoshoot for ourselves it always ends up being the crappiest of weather types of days. For our engagement session with Christine Magee Photography, it was raining, extremely overcast, and super humid! Even though the weather was so not in our favor, I still wanted to push through because I believe in hoping for the best! Plus, I had my hair trial earlier in the day and I knew my hair wouldn’t look this good again until the wedding day!

Jason was a trooper through the whole session though! If anyone knows him, he can not handle any sort of heat so the humidity was a killer for him! He literally wears shorts and a t-shirt when it is 32 degrees outside and I promise you I am not joking! So our engagement session was quite brutal for him but he toughed through so much better than I thought! He is very anti photos and of course me being the photographer that I am, I want as many images of us as possible.

If you have been following my wedding story for a while, you know that Jason had very long hair about a month before our session with Christine Magee Photography. While Jason and I were running around doing errands, he stated “We need updated photos now since my hair is cut”. I couldn’t get to my phone fast enough to text Christine to schedule a session! Poor guy didn’t know what he just did haha!!

Even though the weather was so not in our favor the day of our session, I cherish these images because deep down I know the commitment and effort it took for Jason to make it through the session. It means the absolute world to me all the little things he does to keep me happy and shows he loves me and these gorgeous images Christine captured prove it.

I am hoping that our wedding day will be filled with blue skies, cool breezes, and glowy sunsets! I am hopeful for so much this year and I truly pray that all will be possible. My goal for 2021 is to get married, get pregnant, and have a baby all in the same year! Even if we had a baby in early 2022 I would still be grateful! There is so much to cherish about 2021 and I want to make sure we make it a better year than 2020!

Jason and I have been engaged since November of 2018 so to say we are ready to be married is an understatement. We are ready to start our lives together as a family. Quite frankly, I am done with wedding planning too! It is so much work to plan a celebration like this, which a lot of people do not understand. With over 2 years of planning is put into this day, I am ready to be married. I am so happy that we are exactly 30 days away from our big day! I can not wait to call this man my husband soon!

We love the Spanish moss on the Florida Oak trees so much, we’re getting married under one!

This moment was of Jason and I trying to figure out how I can jump on his back, and somehow it was the hardest thing to figure out! But we got it!

You can actually see that it was raining in this shot!
