Nan and Steve Married | Asbury Ocean Hotel and Jumping Brook Country Club

Nan and Steve’s wedding was beyond beautiful from start to finish, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful weather days. Nan had her preparations at Asbury Ocean Hotel, and if you are not familiar with Asbury, it becomes incredibly populated with everyone flocking to the beach. Luckily, the Asbury Ocean Hotel is such a gorgeous hotel that it made Nan and her bridesmaids getting ready photos beautiful.

After bride and groom prep, we captured first look in the meeting hallway in Asbury Ocean Hotel. If I am sincere, I was petrified when Nan told me she wanted to capture first look in a hallway at the hotel. More times than I would like to count, I have witnessed horrible lighting in hotel hallways, so I avoid them. However, this was not the case for Asbury Ocean Hotel because, as you will see in the images below, the natural light in the hallways was a light and airy photographer’s dream! The floor-to-ceiling wall of windows made the perfect backdrop for their portraits right after first look.

After the first look, we ventured to St. John’s Island in Asbury Park, just a few short blocks from Asbury Ocean Hotel, where we captured wedding party portraits and more bride and groom portraits. Even though it was a tiny park, it had beautiful flower blooms, making an excellent backdrop for pictures.

Nan and Steve had their ceremony and reception at Jumping Brook Country Club. Without the help of Ryan with Ryan Van Duyne Events, their wedding would not have flowed as smoothly as it did. I believe that every couple should invest in a wedding planner, even if it is just day-of coordination. Wedding planners, especially Ryan, know all the ins and out’s of perfecting a wedding day and help keep the typical wedding day stresses at bay for the couple. That is a win-win!
