There were many romantic and joyful moments during Alex and Cooper’s NJ beach engagement session at The Point in Longport NJ. Alex and Cooper will marry at Linwood Country Club in December of this year. I am overjoyed to be visiting Lindwood Country Club again and capturing their love story!
We started at the jetty, where it was wild and windy but with beautiful light as the sun started to set. Dressed in an electric blue satin dress with her hair down and no shoes, Alex was giving off the perfect beach babe vibes. Cooper also looked awesome in a cool linen outfit with rolled-up pants.
After a quick outfit change, we headed to the bay side of the The Point in Longport NJ. We captured creative candids, some of my favorites from this pretty, just-engaged photo shoot. White outfits are always classic and timeless, and our couple looked happy and relaxed after having time to warm up to the camera. Dancing, kissing, and nailing some impressive “jump into my arms” moves. At the end, they remembered there was a bottle of champagne to pop. It’s always fun to pop the cork and spray some bubbles everywhere before indulging in celebratory champers. Or you can drink it straight from the bottle like Cooper did!
There are so many reasons I love these NJ beach engagement photos. They are precious memories of a time in Alex and Cooper’s life that they will look back on fondly. They can be used for modern save-the-date cards for the wedding or on a wedding website. Also could be displayed at the wedding, given as framed gifts to family and friends this Christmas or shared on social media. I think of all these uses as I shoot because I love it when couples display their photos for everyone to enjoy.
With lovely weather, this photo shoot was fun and relaxed. Of course, there was a gorgeous collection of images to edit. It’s all a photographer could ask for, and I was proud to show Alex and Cooper the results. They were over the moon with their NJ beach engagement album and excited to choose which ones to print.
