Nothing gets my NJ family photographer creative heart inspired as much as a styled shoot. When my frendor (vendor friend), Betina, suggested we collaborate, it was an instant yes! Betina is originally from Denmark and has talent and style running through her soul. Her florals are always stunningly beautiful, so I was super excited to work with her on this special project.
We had this gorgeous Boho-style peacock chair which she decorated with dreamy white and pink florals and masses of rustic greenery. We found this perfect spot at Seven Bridges Beach in Tuckerton, NJ, because of the lovely weather and golden light. It didn’t take long to find clients who were even more excited about this styled shoot than me. With a couple of mommy and me sessions and four family sessions, it was non-stop shooting for several glorious hours.
All of the families arrived with fabulous outfits in soft colors to match the dreamy vibe of the styled shoot. It’s interesting to see the striking difference between the blues and pinks. Both are lovely but totally different at the same time. All the children were happy and smiley, and I think they were feeding off our energy to create such beauty in a place that was already so scenic.
Here are some of my favorite images from each mini-shoot. We plan to do more of these types of NJ family photographer sessions in the future. So if you are interested in joining in, please get in touch with me asap. I’ll add you to my email list and update you on future plans. Or we can style a shoot any time for you and your family. We can arrange any decor, color theme, or props in my studio or outdoors. You also can’t go wrong with natural settings, favorite places, or even shooting at your own home, where sentimental memories are already infused into the setting.
