First Birthday Ideas: Oliver’s 9-Month Time Flies Birthday Photoshoot

time flies birthday, time flies first birthday ideas

While capturing the latest time flies birthday theme in the studio for my son, I couldn’t help but reflect Oliver’s beautiful life to date. It’s incredible how quickly these months have passed. Each marked by a series of delightful milestones that remind me to cherish every second. Every three months, I embark on this journey of documenting his growth, much like a first birthday cake smash session. This particular theme resonates deeply with me as Oliver’s first birthday approaches in April.

Time surely does fly with a second child. It feels like just yesterday when I was eagerly awaiting every achievement with my first child. Wishing each moment to rush by as I anticipated those significant milestones. Such as like crawling, walking, and talking. However, with Oliver, I find myself wanting to hold on to the now a little longer. There’s something truly comforting about my little stationary baby. Oliver, at 9 months old, is now sitting up and exploring new tastes. Yet, he remains blissfully content to stay in one place. This time flies birthday photoshoot allowed me to embrace this phase. I am savoring his innocence, and capturing those fleeting moments.

9 Month Time Flies Birthday Photoshoot

Each session has its unique charm. For his 6-month photos, I chose the theme “halfway around the sun”. And back at 3 months, we recreated a sweet setup reminiscent of a newborn shoot. For this Time Flies Birthday photoshoot, Oliver wore the cutest blue knit overalls for his first outfit. These overalls I simply just adore! The joy in seeing him dressed up is amplified during these photoshoots. It allows me to express my creativity and love for photography. For his second time flies birthday outfit, he wore blue jeans paired with an adorable pilot hat. Both outfits I found at Target and Amazon, my two favorite stores!

To accentuate the passage of time, I introduced a moon bowl in his photos. This moon bowl has become a symbol of his growth. Appearing in his newborn, 3-month, and 6-month sessions, now joining us for the 9-month time flies birthday photoshoot. Each time I place him in it, I marvel at how much he has grown. From a fragile newborn to a curious 9-month-old baby. The moon bowl beautifully frames each stage. Providing a visual contrast that emphasizes just how much he has grown in such a short span.

I wish I could freeze time

As I planned this time flies birthday photoshoot, I felt an overwhelming mix of emotions. I wanted so desperately to freeze time. holding onto his giggles and those precious little moments where he simply gazes at me. But as I edit these images and look forward to each milestone, like his upcoming first birthday session, I realize that these phases, while brief, are to be celebrated.

For his first birthday, I’m excited to transform our studio into a whimsical farm theme! I can’t wait to see how it turns out and what new memories we’ll create. The thought of a cake smash among hay bales and farm animals fills me with joy, and the theme will certainly resonate with our family’s journey as we navigate each precious moment. Time flies, and in a flash, we’ll be celebrating yet another milestone, cherishing each step as we go. Here’s to you, Oliver, and the incredible adventure of growing up; I hope to capture every bit, knowing that although time flies, these memories will last forever.
