Susan and Donald’s Orange Lawn Tennis Club wedding was the official start of my wedding season and let me tell you it is going to be one heck of a season! Furthermore with what 2020 was like, I believe that 2021 is going to be a year filled with so much love and appreciation for our friends and families. As a matter of fact, Susan and Donald’s wedding was exactly this!

It feels like not that long ago I shot Susan and Donald’s engagement session at Leonard J Bucks Garden but in reality, it was over 7 months ago! Click Here To View Their Engagement Session! There is something that is heartwarming to me when I walk into preparations and I get to see my couples again. It is like seeing a friend I haven’t seen in a while and, for those that know me, this is such an important moment! I tell all my couples during our initial chats that I want us to feel like friends, and these roots are set during an engagement session.

Susan and Donald’s wedding day started off flawlessly with everything running on time, which is rare for a wedding day! Susan got ready in her childhood home that was actually walking distance away from their church where they officially became husband and wife. Their wedding colors consisted of dusty blue and blush tones which in my opinion are the best wedding colors for a spring wedding! Their reception took place at the beautiful Orange Lawn Tennis Club in the ballroom with a huge vaulted ceiling, large windows for a lot of natural light, and colorful built-in uplighting.
