We started Julie and Corey’s session at 5:30 in the morning at the Asbury Park Boardwalk on the beach near the jetty with their adorable pup, Ruth. We ventured into the water for a few shots before making our way to the boardwalk near the Asbury Park Convention Hall. Julie and Corey brought a vintage bike to their engagement session that was a beautiful teal color that matched the Asbury Park Convention Hall perfectly! Julie even put a cute bouquet of flowers in the wicker basket that made portraits with the vintage bike so much cuter!
Not a lot of couples are up for the challenge of a sunrise session but Julie and Corey were! I personally love sunrise sessions for so many reasons. For example, I am a morning person so it was fairly easy for me to get up and ready at 4:00 am for Julie and Corey’s session. Sunrise sessions are also nice because there are little to no crows except for the occasional morning jogger which is super easy to workaround.
These two will be getting married at the gorgeous English Manor in Ocean Township, New Jersey in June of next year. We were about just a few days over a year away from their wedding date when we shot their engagement session! I can’t wait to celebrate with these two next June!
