Sunrise sessions are becoming my new favorite engagement session type! Luckily, it’s easy for me to get up early to do sunrise sessions, especially in June when sunrise is at 5:30 in the morning! However, it is so worth it to get up at 4:00 AM to capture the gorgeous sunrise with my couples! I mean just look at those colors in the images below!
Samantha and I were both eyeing the weather like crazy the last few days because it had been showing that it was supposed to rain and be overcast for their sunrise session. Obviously this is not something you want for a sunrise beach engagement. Luckily we got the most beautiful weather we could’ve ever imagined though, other than the pesky gnats that kept biting up! The sun was so glowy, the colors were so beautiful, and it didn’t rain which is always a plus!
Samantha and Joey told me that they’re actually flying out a few hours after their sunrise session to go and spend almost a week in Orlando at Disney World and Universal Studios. I am not going to lie, I am definitely jealous and wish I could tag along! I haven’t been to Disney World in years, so I am well overdue for a trip. Maybe once we have this baby I can convince Jason to take us!
Samantha and Joey will be getting married this September at the Reeds Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. I can’t wait to capture more gorgeous portraits on their wedding day just a few short months away!
