Welcome To The World Baby Grayson, Newborn Baby Photography

Meet baby Grayson, the cutest little bundle of joy ever arriving at my newborn baby photography studio. I was instantly in love with this darling little boy whose mother, Sage, is also a New Jersey photographer. 

I wanted to gift a newborn baby photography session to her. From time to time, I love to shoot for free for so many reasons. It might be for family, someone I want to meet, or someone going through a tough life. I sometimes shoot for free simply because their story inspires me. Showing love through art is a blessing and spending time with Sage and Grayson on this day was so special. Sage and I have so much in common and were quietly talking about work, babies, life, and love, and imagine how many photos Grayson would have in his album by his first birthday.

The color palette for this newborn baby photography shoot matched the fall season, even though it was inside my studio in Tuckerton, NJ. Outside, the fall leaves were golden tones, and it was starting to get chilly. Inside, baby Grayson was bundled up in adorable beige, mustard, and green wool outfits. We swaddled him in warm wraps using textured layers of wool rugs and woven baskets. Of course, we had to do some Christmas-themed images that I imagine were turned into the most charming Merry Christmas and Happy New Year cards. 

The snoozing images are so lovely. The tiny hands, serene expression, and baby sighs would melt any heart. I love babies; documenting this precious time in life is so important because it’s fleeting. Especially the early years fly by so quickly, their faces change, and they grow way too fast. Of course, it sounds a bit cliche, but as a mom, I can’t help saying it. If only we could freeze time and enjoy the newborn baby stage for a little longer. A newborn is generally from the day of birth until one month old. On a sentimental level, your little one will always be your baby, but you have a toddler on your hands as soon as those first steps are taken around one year of age.
